What an awesome track and a fabulous way to end another very successful Saddle Skedaddle Spring Series. Well done to all who rode and have kept our events the best attended XC in the country, thank you. Please note it's not as originally advertised at Ash because the ongoing Army manoeuvres taking place there have run on, and we don't want you dodging bullets.

Along with the clocks going forward on the weekend and over 500 hundred riders rolling up to take part in the latest round of the Spring Series, you could definitely say the Spring has really sprung! The sun even came out to welcome riders from near and far as they got stuck into a really challenging course.

What a fabulous if chilly day to tackle yet another exciting variant on this venues courses. It may have been on the short side for some of you but the leg testing steep climbs were more than a challenge for many.

Just over 17 years ago the very first Gorrick XC race got underway, little did the organisers think that all these years later Crowthorne Woods would still be attracting hundreds of keen mountain bikers and the Gorrick would be a firm favourite event for riders from all over the UK, it does and they are!
