Enter now - 12:12 Torq In Your Sleep - August Bank Holiday Weekend

by Jon Lucas, 10 Jul 09.

Entries are pouring in for our annual 12 hour Enduro event at Minley Manor near Yateley on the Bank Holiday weekend of Sunday 30th August 2009. If you haven't got yours in yet, then this is a reminder that online and postal entries will close on FRIDAY 21st AUGUST or EARLIER if the event is full. Please remember that there will be NO ENTRY ON THE DAY at this event. If you're still unsure of your exact team line-up, then don't worry, you can submit your entry anyway and confirm the rider names either by email to us info@gorrick.com any time before entries close or on the actual day when you collect your Race Number Pack (which will also contain lots of info and some great offers) at Event Registration. Your options are Solo, Pairs, or Teams of 3 or 4.

The 8 mile figure of 8 course will be similar to last year, typically 'Gorrick' with flowing singletrack through pine forest and parkland with a few technical challenges interspersed by short fire roads to aid recovery and refuelling. The final section into the arena will be shortened to a very fast downhill blast awarding both riders and spectators a great view of the action.

Headline sponsors TORQ Fitness will be giving away free bottles, energy bars or gels to every rider. In addition, they'll also be supplying your energy needs at the on-course TORQ Power Station with free energy drink. Onsite facilities include Free Camping from 2pm Saturday to 2pm Monday, Showers, Toilets, Drinking Water, Hot and Cold Food from Saturday evening through to the early hours of Monday morning, a Solo Pit/Camping Area, Joolze Dymond our event Photographer and last but not least the massage team.

The venue opens from 2pm on Saturday when the course will be available for pre-riding. Event Registration will be open on Sunday from 8am to 10.30am for Race Number Pack Collection with a Rider Briefing at 11am.
