The 12:12 TORQ in your SLEEP our 12 hour enduro (with an added 6 hour option this year) event for Solos, Pairs and Teams takes place at Minley Manor, Hants. Just minutes from the M3 at junction 4A, the course covers an 8 mile figure of 8 circuit of heath land, beech woods, pine forest and open parkland. Riding starts on the Sunday at 12 noon and ends at 12 midnight so powerful lights suitable for riding off road at night will be required . This event is part of the Endurance Series.
TORQ Fitness are the headline sponsors and it will be everything that you expect from us and more. FREE CAMPING for those of you who want to chill before or after the event from noon on Saturday right through to 2pm on Bank Holiday Monday afternoon. There will be plenty of trade stands, a full programme of riding, catering all weekend by Quaver, hot showers, music and free beer at the main prize giving.
12pm: Gates open. Trackside camping for Solos. Course open for pre-riding.
3pm: Children’s races. Categories for 6 to 15 years. Medals and sweets for all.
4pm: She TORQs 1 lap of the quiet course as a fundraiser for the Hants and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Service for female riders to race or pace. Afterwards chocolate, Pimms, socialising and opportunities in the Arena to get advice on bike maintenance, training, nutrition, a future bike purchase, kit & clothing.
8am: Registration opens for the collection of rider registration packs and team confirmations.
12pm: Riding starts for 12 hour riders.
3pm: Riding starts for 6 hour riders.
12am Midnight: Course closes – finish and relax with music and beer as you wait for the spot prize draw and prize giving.
