Preview: Autumn Classic, 2nd November - Crowthorne

It's the last XC event of the year so naturally it must be Crowthorne Wood! Gorrick's Autumn Classic mountain bike race, bringing this season to a close, is on Sunday the 2nd of November 2008. Racing starts at 9.30 for the under 16's and Beginners, followed by the over 30's at 10.30 while from 11.30, there are separate races for different abilities. It's not a Series, so why not push yourself and give the next category up a go?
If you've never raced, it's not too late to give it a go, so why not enter the Beginner or Fun categories? As usual there will be full facilities and a warm welcome. For added interest Berks on Bikes, our local club, will be holding their own handicap Sprint Race in the afternoon which is always good fun. Don't forget you can pre-enter online or by post until the evening of Tuesday 28th October thereby saving yourself the extra on the day and any queuing - but please remember to bring your receipt if you do. Otherwise, as with all our events, you can always enter on the day.
