Gorrick XC Autumn Classic - Sunday 18 November

A quick reminder that our Autumn XC Classic race event is on this Sunday 18 November at Crowthorne Wood, Bracknell Road, Crowthorne, Berks - nearest postcode RG45 6AR. What better way to end your season? [Not forgetting the Brass Monkeys of course!]
You can expect a superb 4 mile, carefully prepared racing course at a classic all weather venue. A short uphill start leads into a fast fire road descent and then the course opens out into endless lovely smooth flowing single track in the open and in amongst the trees. Some short sharp climbs will test your legs and there'll be some technical challenges just to keep you on your toes. The finishing loop makes this a particularly spectator friendly venue so bring along your supporters too.
There's plenty of categories spread across the morning for riders from aged 8 upwards with Beginner and Fun categories for those new to racing. Riders Under 11 and Under 13 race first on a shortened part of the main course. Trophies are presented on the podium as each group of races finishes. Each entered rider over 18 will go in to a prize draw to win a UK weekend cycling break from the event sponsor www.skedaddle.co.uk
This friendly, well organised event offers full facilities including timing, catering, toilets, same day web results, event photographer and trophies and spot prizes to be won. Pre-event course updates will be posted on our facebook and Twitter feeds in the lead up to the event.
Pre-entry has now closed but you always enter the event on the day from 8am if you wish.
