Autumn Classic 1 - Results and Photographs

Area 51 near Tunnel Hill was the venue for Round 1 of the Autumn Classics. The venue has only been used twice before and is quickly establishing itself as a fun but tough course to race. The hills may seem short but they're steep punchy little numbers, and the singletrack is unrelenting in a flowy twisty turny fashion. Some hard work by the trail crew early this year put in place some nice new sections and a good switchback climb. Conditions couldn't have been better under tyre and as the day wore on the sun gradually warmed through the pine forest.
Podium presentations were held throughout the day and we thank the headline sponsors Four4th Lights and Mountain Trax for the race numbers. You can view lap by lap times and photographs are available to purchase via the links above.
Our next XC event will be at Crowthorne Wood on Sunday 6 November, although we know that lots of you will be riding the Cool Challenge next Sunday 16th at Andover.
