Merida Summer Monkey Enduro - Results

Whose brilliant idea was it to hold a Monkey in the Summer? In contrast to the winter enduro held here back in December when conditions were very wintery it was an absolute joy to cruise round bone dry dusty trails. Not a Brassy Monkey in sight.
As for the course, it was fantastic, with many unexpected turns that took you to areas never ridden before. Although I heard the words "relentless" and "brutal" used a few times!! It didn't seem to slow down two exceptional 6hr riders, Tim Dunford and George Budd, who completed 11 laps and finished just 2 minutes apart. Outstanding riding gentlemen. There were plenty more great performances and it was an achievement in itself to finish, so download the results via the link above to check your lap times and position.
