Last Gorrick XC until September! Sunday 13 April at Porridge Pot Hill

by Jane Lucas, 08 Apr 14.

The last round of our XC Skedaddle Spring Series at Porridge Pot Hill, Deepcut, Camberley, Surrey, GU16 6TU is fast approaching. Over the years we have developed and worked hard on the land to make it the cracking venue that it is. You can expect a mix of short sharp climbs, some longer, gentler ones, plus some fast singletrack descents. As the car park and Arena are surrounded on three sides by much of the course, it's a particularly spectator friendly venue. There will be the usual Gorrick welcome, full facilities, trade stands plus Series podium presentations.

We're expecting more great racing and you can check out the current Series points table. Riders who have already gained Series points will be gridded again on the Start line. You need to have gained points in at least 3 out of the 4 rounds, with all rounds counting, to be a contender to win one of the shiny Series trophies from our sponsor Four4th Lights.

There’ll be lots of Series prizes given out on the podium courtesy of our sponsors Saddle Skedaddle, Owens Cycles, Banjo Cycles, Beyond Mountain Bikes and 1st Gear Cycles. The Series winning Expert riders will receive the rolled over prize money pots. We will also be giving out lots more spot prizes too.

You can pre-enter this event online until the evening of Tuesday 8 April, please bring your receipt with you if you do. Otherwise, you can always enter on the day, as usual. Full details are here and pre-event updates will go up on Twitter and Facebook as usual.
