Big air wasn't compulsory

The second Autumn Classic lived up to its billing - classic Crowthorne, classic course, classic weather. You couldn't really ask for more to round off a great season of racing, eh? There was a real buzz about the place and it was great to see and talk to so many riders who were racing for the first time. I hope we fulfilled your expectations and would like to hear from you if you have something to say, e-mail us at info@gorrick.com.

Gorrick reached a milestone on Sunday with the 15th anniversary of event organisation. Just take a moment to reflect on those early days and how things have changed since; the advancements in bike and lap scoring technology, that wonderful 'flouro' clothing which strangely still seems popular, the advent of this website to keep you all informed and enter events online, but for us the most important point... we still and always will design race courses by riders for riders. We hope you have enjoyed all the venues this year each with their unique features and different challenges - no doubt you have your favourites.

Looking ahead to 2008 the Exodus Spring Series dates and venues have been set, as has the Enduro sponsored by Gore Bikewear. We hope to announce a brand new event in the not too distant future, that's the only titbit you're getting for now.

The season isn't truly over for Gorrick. On behalf of the Test Valley Tour we will running the very popular Cold MTB Challenge on the 18th November in Andover. This is a waymarked route predominately offroad with a choice of distances. Ride it solo or why not get a group of mates together and treat it as a good social. Online and postal pre-entries are open until Sunday 11th, but entry on the day is always available.
