Exodus Spring Series Round 1 Preview

by Jon Lucas, 18 Jan 07.

Course Update 25th Jan: Despite the recent snow the course was in great condition on Wednesday night's ride. The singletrack is all firm and riding well and we've routed round the few big puddles on the fireroads. (Paul Howard)

Everything is set, so it's Gorrick Spring Series time again starting on Sunday 28 January 2007. Our mountain bike race series is the regular kick starter for the season ahead, so as always there will be a great turnout, with Tunnel Hill, Pirbright the first venue and what a cracker! New last Autumn, the team has put a lot of effort into producing a really first rate balance of swoopy flowing single track, fire bash, climbs & descents. Brought together at a venue which can take anything the weather might throw at us this time of year, and still leave you smiling.

Exodus Travels are once again our headline sponsors, so there's no surprise that we have some truly fantastic holidays up for grabs as prizes during the Series. Check out their great holidays for 2007 at www.exodus.co.uk.

Our Online entry service for all our events is now in full swing. You can even enter all 5 rounds of the Spring Series at the press of a button. However you do still also have time to download an Entry Form and post it in as usual. All pre-entries must be received by next Tuesday 23rd January. Remember that you can always enter on the day of an event without a problem.

Series fans will be pleased to hear that we have revised the Points Allocation. We also have the usual fantastic Sponsor support from all our local mountain bike shops. Check out all the details on the website.
