Exodus Spring Series round 5 results [updated]

The Exodus Spring Series came to a damp finale at Porridgepot Hill today. As seems to have been the pattern this series the morning racers had the best of the conditions and lap times were suitably impressive over the challenging course (some would say a real mtb'ers course), run in the opposite direction to last year with some great new features. But then the rain really set in by midday and some of the trails turned rather aptly into porridge. We're running a Poll so please vote for your favourite Race Venue/Course this series.

Many thanks to Exodus Adventure Holidays for supporting the series and providing the holidays. Also to all the shops and other sponsors that keep their faith in you the riders for turning up. The series winners were presented with their certificates and podium positions duly taken (your vouchers will be posted during the week).

Our official event photographer Guy Swarbrick looked wetter than most of the riders as he tramped round the course to take a few thousand pictures. You can checkout his website via the photos link above, once they're all uploaded buy your favourite to display as a high resolution image on your pc.

So that's our racing over until we return in September with the 5th round of the Southern XC at Yateley, then our Autumn Classic in October & November. If you still want local racing Summit Racing are holding monthly evening races beginning this Wednesday the 24th May. Regular Gorrickers Simon North and Brendan Divall are the men behind the new venue at Lotts Wood near Amersham with promises of a great new course. Please visit Summit Racing for race information, location and entry forms.

The Gorrick Team thank you for your support. We look forward to seeing many of you again during the summer when we get a chance to be on the other side of the tape and compete ourselves.
