Exodus Spring Series round 3 results

A very fast four mile course gave a good mix of trails to pit your wit's against in the chill dry winter air. Tight & twisty copses were followed by tree lined 'speeder' tunnels and short fireroads, so riders who were adapt at constant pace changes made the biggest gains. If you want to relive the course from the comfort of your PC we captured some great footage on a helmet mounted camera, provided by Action Cameras, during the first lap of the Open race. Once edited and overlaid with some appropriate sounds (not breathless riders!) it will be published on the website to download and a longer version shown at the next race. As unfortunately due to the predicted inclement weather forecast for this weekend, it was decided to postpone launching the live results and course preview on the Sagem TV, sorry about that.
There was no Exodus prize draw today, but it's back at round four with a holiday to Morocco.
It was great to see the new TORQ Fitness bus fully decked out in black and orange logos, very striking. Matt and Sasha Hart spent the whole weekend at the venue launching their '06 race team on Saturday and supporting all you energy bereft riders with tasty products on race day. The time and investment they have put back into mountain biking is good to see and you'll no doubt spot them at many more of our events. I hope the long drive back to Shrewsbury wasn't affected by the forecast snow.
So, with just two more rounds to go, both at Deepcut – Frith Hill on the 2 April, Porridgepot Hill on the 21 May – the series leaders are starting to come to the fore. Please check back later on Monday for the updated points table. Splitting the final rounds is the Sagem Enduro on 30 April, don't forget to send your pre-entry in to save time on the day.
Next Sunday is a TrailTrax Navigation event based at Normandy, between Guildford and Farnham. It's a lovely area of the North Downs and is not too difficult for map reading. Hope to see you there.
