A day of two halves...Crowthorne's early starters enjoyed a track in relatively good condition with few muddy patches to contend with. But come 2pm the Expert, Sport and Varsity racers lined up as the rain well and truly settled in. All credit goes out to these guys and girls who battled the ever increasingly slippy trails and exposed roots to finish. The race results are now posted (see above link), series points will be published on Monday and make sure to check back for event photos during the week.

Thanks to series sponsors Exodus Travel, Fun racer Nigel Seagar walked away with a biking break in the prize draw, all for just turning up to ride.

Round 3 revisits Heath Warren in just three weeks time on the 12 March. Expect the usual mix of twisty trails no doubt in a different order to usual as we've become accustomed to this season.

On a final note we'd like to extend our thanks to James Dymond and his colleagues at Bracknell Forest Council for getting the quagmire cleared out and fixing the drainage in the underpass, improving access for everyone.
