Finally the weather broke for the good to supply us with constant sunshine and hot temperatures. It obviously helped tempt many of you out on the Bank Holiday to compete in our first TrailTrax held within the confines of Swinley Forest. Navigating by fireroad and tracks alone added a new dimension, as the aid of 'tarmac' roads normally makes map reading somewhat easier. But many of you didn't seem hindered, in fact we were surprised at the speed of some finish times. Perhaps we'll up the difficulty level in future!
Many thanks to those that stayed for the bbq and prizegiving, with prizes courtesy of Mountain Trax. We look forward to seeing you all again at Tilford in Surrey on October 14th for our first Winter TrailTrax.
