Upcoming events - including new e-bike event

We hope that you've been enjoying the Summer trails. We've been looking ahead to the Autumn/Winter, and here's what we have planned, including a new event for e-bike riders. It's a longish but informative read, so well worth it. If you're a valued regular, you can just go straight to the CALENDAR and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Gorrick Cross Country racing events are:

  • Lap-based races (4-mile laps) with categories by age and ability
  • All weather, well prepped, overtaking courses
  • Full facilities, spectator friendly
  • Ideal for newcomers: start with the Open or Female 2 Laps categories
  • Children (age 8-12) ride shorter laps; teens (13-17) race full courses
  • Trophies awarded on podium
  • Catering all day, so relax and enjoy the event arena after your race

Dates: Equinox Classic - 21 Sep, Halloween Classic - 26 Oct, Valentine Classic - 15 Feb & Spring Classic - 8 Mar

Brass Monkey Cross Country Endurance events are:

  • Time-based events (2+ hours) over 5 - 6 mile laps.
  • Focus on stamina, with less technical terrain and more rest areas.
  • Completing as many laps as you can in your time.
  • Age categories from 14+.
  • Top all weather venues with well-prepped courses.
  • Trophies and Prizes and Spot Prizes for the Rounds and the Series.
  • Full facilities and friendly vibe.

Venues & Dates: The Christmas Classic - 30 Nov at Minley, Hants, GU17 9LP, 2 Jan at Porridgepot Hill, Deepcut, Surrey, GU16 6TU & 1 Feb on a different course at Minley.

Gorrick Trail Rides

Venue & Date: Cool Trail Ride - 5 Oct HQ at The Pavilion, Charlton Sport & Leisure Centre, Andover, Hants, SP10 3LF

  • Timed non-competitive, fully supported rides through very scenic countryside.
  • Stunning singletrack 'Woods' section.
  • Decide which distance to ride on the day.
  • Choose from Medium 30-35km, Long 45-55km, or Epic 75-85km routes.
  • Non-modified E-Bikes welcome.
  • Suitable for individuals, groups, or families (children under 16 ride free).
  • Pre-enter online or enter on day (£3 surcharge).
  • Pre-event info email.
  • Includes fuel & water stops, awards and excellent facilities at the finish.
