Gorrick Hot MTB Challenge - Sunday 7 June

We are fast approaching the first of the two Off Road MTB Sportives that we run each year. Our Hot MTB Challenge takes place on Sunday 7 June from the event HQ at Vernham Dean Pavilion, Vernham Dean, Hants. SP11 0JY.

In case you haven’t heard of or done one of these events before, you can expect a fully supported, marked route event on quiet lanes, tracks and bridleways through the glorious Hampshire/Wiltshire countryside that includes some amazing singletrack through The Woods section. As well as the chance to ride in an area that you may not know well, The Hot Challenge offers you all you would expect from Gorrick and more:

• A choice of route lengths, choose from 80km, 50km or 30km.
• Children under 16 riding with an adult are FREE.
• Reduced entry fee for Over 65s.
• Computer timing and web results service.
• A free Torq energy bar or gel at Registration.
• Free energy drink/food at the friendly water stops along the routes.
• Mobile marshals/mechanic.
• A medal when you finish.
• On site catering – bacon sandwiches, homemade cakes and a bbq.
• On site showers.
• On site bike wash.
• One lucky rider will win a superb UK cycling weekend courtesy of Saddle Skedaddle the event sponsor in a free to enter prize draw.
